FAQ

General FAQs

Do I have to room with strangers?

No! We’ll do all the cabin assignments ourselves and we’ll put family and friend groups together. Let us know if you have specific requests!

Are kids invited to the ceremony?

Yes!

What time should we arrive?

We can check in to the cabins any time after 4pm on Friday, Sept 4! We’ll be around to set folks up with their cabin assignments all evening, but do let us know if you’ll be arriving late (after 10pm).

Do you have a wedding registry?

Nope! We have all we need. We just want your company, and a handwritten card, if you feel like it!

What’s the dress code?

The weekend will be casual overall, but we’ll still get dressed up (cocktail attire) for the ceremony and reception! The ceremony and dinner will be held on grass, so no stilettos – wedges or sandals will serve you better. Bring a layer in case it gets windy or chilly in the evenings, and rain gear just in case (we are in the rainforest, after all!)

What else should we bring?

For the bunkhouses: toiletries, shower shoes, earplugs, and perhaps a flashlight. For adventuring, sturdy shoes, layers, and a daypack. For water adventures, some sandals, water shoes, or old sneakers. Life jackets will be provided for the canoes!
